CAPABILITIES
Mixed-signal ASIC capabilities for application-specific electronics.
AMAC develops customer-specific mixed-signal ASICs that integrate analog and digital functions, supported by digital logic design, FPGA-based development and system-level integration where required.
Mixed-Signal ASIC Design
Integrated analog and digital circuit design for customer-specific ASIC solutions.
Digital Logic Design
Digital logic and control functions developed as part of the overall ASIC architecture.
FPGA Development & Prototyping
FPGA-based implementation for prototyping, validation and application-specific digital functionality.
Design Support & Integration
Support from technical specification and circuit design through implementation, testing and integration into the customer system.
SILICON REALIZATION & VALIDATION
From completed design to production silicon.
Once the ASIC design is finalized, AMAC supports the transition to physical silicon — from prototype fabrication and sample preparation through in-house characterization, customer validation and series-production transfer.

01
Prototype Fabrication
Prototype ASICs are manufactured using a semiconductor technology and production route selected according to the project requirements.
Typical sample preparation:
approx. 12 months
02
Characterization & Validation
Prototype samples are characterized and tested in-house at AMAC. Results are compared with the technical requirements, followed by optimization where necessary and validation in the customer application.
03
Production Transfer
After successful validation, the ASIC is prepared for series production using the manufacturing solution appropriate to the technology, application and project requirements.
