MIXED-SIGNAL SENSOR IC
AM-CVC2D is a fully configurable mixed-signal IC for sensor excitation and charge evaluation. It processes signals from two external capacitive sensors and combines analog signal conditioning, A/D conversion and digital processing within one integrated device.

SIGNAL PROCESSING
From analog sensor signal to digital data.
After the sensor signal is conditioned, AM-CVC2D converts and processes it digitally. Integrated correction, filtering and monitoring functions prepare the measurement data for further use in the system.

The integrated digital processing chain supports signal conversion, correction, configurable filtering and threshold evaluation before data is communicated through the serial interfaces.

Designed for integration into capacitive sensor systems.
AM-CVC2D connects external capacitive sensors with the surrounding electronics by combining configurable sensor interfaces, analog and digital outputs, serial communication and stored device configuration.
Sensor Connection
Two external capacitive sensors connect to the configurable charge-amplifier channels for signal evaluation.
Communication
SPI and I²C interfaces provide communication and configuration between AM-CVC2D and the surrounding system electronics.
Configuration
& Startup
PIntegrated EEPROM and Power-On Reset allow stored configuration data to be loaded automatically during startup.
